Small dockside bar that gives good exposure to local and national bands alike. Previous bands have included the Scissor Sisters, the White Stripes and the Libertines, before they hit the big time.

The Louisiana has a distinctive exterior and is only a short walk away from the waterfront. The friendly atmosphere makes the pub ideal for meeting your mates before going upstairs to watch some great live music between 7pm and 11pm. The Louisiana is a small venue, with only a 120 capacity, but this does create a fantastic atmosphere and it is great being so close to the stage. Music has been a central part of the Louisiana for over 100 years and now hosts a selection of local indie-rock bands. Big name bands also drop in from time to time, including The Strokes, Coldplay and Kasabian. With live music seven days a week there is likely to be something on that you’ll enjoy. If you hear about a secret gig on at this venue, spend the money and get yourself a ticket, because those nights are not to be missed.
