Description

Colston Hall is an impressive building and is the largest concert venue in the South West, with a capacity of over 2,800. A wide range of acts perform at Colston Hall every year, including classical, rock, pop, jazz and world music events, as well as high profile comedians. Over the last year INXS, Raconteurs, Thriller-Live and Natasha Bedingfield have all performed here, and Jimmy Carr and Ricky Gervais have also graced the stage with their stand-up shows. The Hall has a large standing area as well as seating areas, including many on the large balcony. The Colston Hall attract some big names, and their repertoire of pop and rock bands has expanded over the last year however they still have a reputation for attracting a classical music audience so appreciation of music will not involve moshing or glowsticks.

If you do make a visit, I would advise paying a little extra and get standing or stall tickets for your favourite artist!
