Located behind the Hippodrome, the Bunch of Grapes is a cosy L-shaped pub, with a warm atmosphere. The old-fashioned décor together with the wide range of real ales on tap gives you the feeling you are in a country pub. It is also a great place to go for homemade food, served daily between 12 noon and 7pm. The Bunch of Grapes is a favourite for students and music lovers. If you are looking for lots of live music, it is likely that you will be able to find something to suit on any night of the week, with the exception of Monday, which is quiz night. Bristol Blues Club promotes Blues Night every Tuesday, Wednesday is Open Mic Night, and Thursdays are Band Showcase Nights. Music from the likes of Powder Monkey, Capone and Defacto can be enjoyed on Friday and Saturday nights, and Sunday night play host to acoustic sessions.
