Situated in the heart of Bristol with a capacity of approximately 700, the Bierkeller is a medium sized venue, famous for alternative music. It has a unique atmosphere due to the black stone floors and a circular layout, so that whether you are looking to chill with your friends or mosh in the crowd, the Bierkeller caters for all. Live music from the likes of ISIS, The Twang, Boy Kill Boy and Orange Goblin has been enjoyed at the Bierkeller over the past year on Sundays to Thursdays. Every Friday night the Bierkeller hosts Bristol’s Biggest Punk-Metal-Rock Night ‘PHUCT’ between 9pm and 3am. This venue is popular with students and locals alike and many gigs here often sell out. At £2.40 a pint the Bierkeller is also easy on the student’s pocket! Just make sure you bring a brolly if you are queuing for a big gig, when it rains there’s no escaping it!
