Campus facilities
There are plenty of campus facilities like Bike Storage, Lockers, Showers etc
Bike Storage
St. Matthias- Sheltered but open bike storage is available in front of Canon-Kitson (behind the bar)
Frenchay- There is loads of unsheltered bike parking around the site.
Glenside- Unsheltered bike loops are available near the library. There is a SECURE shed for bikes near to the Porters Lodge. For access please contact David9.Evans@uwe.ac.uk (Glenside Bicycle Users Group).
Bower Ashton- There is loads of unsheltered bike parking around the site, particularly around the back of the Students Union.
Lockers
St. Matthias- To obtain a locker at St. Matthias please see the SU office. (located by the SU shop).
Frenchay- Lockers are available through your faculty. Please see your faculty reception for details.
Glenside- To obtain a locker please see the SU office (in the SU Bar).
Bower Ashton- To obtain a locker please contact main reception.
Showers
St. Matthias- The gym has showers that are available for all students (W45 & W46).
Frenchay- Showers are available in the new sports centre/the recreation centre.
Showers are also available next to the laundrette (under jobshop) in F block. Sports showers are also available in P block & in the Education department. Ask your faculty if there are any showers near by that this guide has missed!
Glenside- Please see main reception for a code for the showers. (1E06 + 1E09)
Bower Ashton- Showers are available for all students in the main block.
Glenside BUG
Students at Glenside have a Bicycle User Group. Please contact David9.Evans@uwe.ac.uk for details.
