How 2 E-Vote

First of all....
Read the candidate manifestos & profiles (if available), to help you decide who you want to vote for. When you are ready click on the VOTE NOW! button

this will take you to the E-voting system as detailed below.

Step 1 - Login

1) Your UWE network login.
2) Your UWE systems/LDAP password*
*Your UWE systems/LDAP password is the password you use for accessing Blackboard or your exam results online. If you have never changed your Blackboard/LDAP password then it will be the same as your original UWE network & Simeon password. (This password is a random combination of upper and lowercase letters and numbers, for example it may look something like this 'hSk46a')

Step 2 - Ballots Index

Once you have successfully logged in, the ballot paper index page is displayed (opposite). From this page you can view the ballot papers each position. You can vote for any or all of the positions. (When you have finished voting you will be returned to the ballots index page to finally submit your votes).

Step 3 - Voting

On each ballot paper you will see the candidates standing for that position. Number the candidates in order of your preference. Allocate number 1 to the candidate you prefer the most, 2 to your second choice and so on until you have finished voting. Then save your vote and you will be returned to the ballots index page, where you can view other ballot papers or finally submit your votes.
