12. The Ethics and Quality Committee

12.1 Membership

The members entitled to vote at meetings shall be:

• One representative elected by the Student Representative Council who shall not be the Chairperson or Deputy Chairperson of the Student Representative Council;

• One representative elected by the Sports Council who shall not be the Chairperson of the Sports Council;

• One representative elected by the Activities Council who shall not be the Chairperson of the Activities Council;

• Five representatives elected by the Annual General Meeting who shall during their period of office serve neither as members of the Student Representative Council, nor of the Sports Council, nor of the Activities Council.

12.2 Functions

To prepare an annual evaluation of the quality of performance of the Union to include its compliance with the values of the Union as expressed in Clause 3 of this Constitution and to present that evaluation to the Annual General Meeting;
At the request of the Student Representative Council, the Sports Council or the Activities Council to provide advice on matters which relate to the values of the Union;

12.3 Quorum

A quorum of 50%+1 of members shall be attained before any business may be transacted

13. Referendum

A referendum may be held on any matter relating to the educational experience of members and shall be called and conducted in accordance with the procedure shown in Law 4.
