Frenchay, Glenside, St Matt’s and Bower Ashton: UWESU bars are located at each site catering for a caffeine fix or a chilled beer.
Mouth-watering menus at very reasonable prices are available to ensure you get a good meal. Hosting a variety of DJs and performers, our campus bars can quickly shift from your local pub to the city’s option of an entertainment venue.
Escape Bar
Opening Times: Monday to Friday - 8am till late. Saturdays - 12 noon till late. Sundays 12 noon til midnight.
One of the main student union bars, based on the Frenchay campus (F block). Ideal for breakfast and coffee in the day, or perhaps a few drinks in the evening with your friends.
Red Bar
Opening Times: Monday to Friday 11am to 4pm. Open late for events.

Head down to your Glenside student union bar for fun and good times!
St Matt's Bar
Opening Times:
Bower Ashton Bar
Opening Times: 9am to 6pm (Monday to Thursday) and 9am to 5pm on Fridays.

UWESU conducted a survey to 379 students based on and off Frenchay Campus in relation to the Red and Escape bars ran by UWESU.
Eton and Haze - UWE's City Centre Partner Bar
Opening Times: Monday to Thursday - 11am till 11pm. Friday & Saturday - 11am till 2am,. Sundays 11am till 10:30pm.
UWE's new partner bar and club, located in the city centre on Baldwin Street. Ideal for lunch and coffee in the chilled out Eton, or perhaps a few drinks while you dance the night away upstairs in Haze
