UWESU JobShop , Bristol (For Hartpury College JobShop see below.)
Are you wondering how you're going to finance your way through university? Ever growing financial pressures mean that more and more students now look for work, not only in their vacations, but during term-time as well. But you don't just want any old job - you want one that's flexible, well paid and with an employer who values your contribution. And what with the increasing number of graduates, you may well be looking for something to put on your CV.
If you're thinking HELP! Don't worry - it's at hand.
The Students' Union JobShop was set up in September 1998 for these very reasons and all vacancies that are advertised (6800 in the last year) are aimed specifically at students. These employers know about study commitments, holiday periods and the other little things, like exams that seem to get in the way of earning cash! The majority of vacancies we advertise are with external employers in Bristol and the local area, but JobShop also handles all Students' Union Vacancies. The JobShop also offers tips on specific job hunting, advice on your employment rights, tax, National Insurance etc.
