Halley Nursery is situated on Frenchay Campus and provides high quality childcare and education for the children of students, university employees and the local community.
Welcome to the UWE Students' Union Halley Nursery
Our new Frenchay nursery opened its doors in September 2007, providing childcare for 62 children aged 3 months to 5 years. Halley Frenchay is a year round provision, though there are term time places allocated to students and employees.
This follows from many years of planning, during which professionals from different departments and the children and parents of our nursery participated in consultations, where they provided their support and offered their creative ideas and experience.
The nurseries will offer priority to students and staff of UWE, with places being offered to community parents if there are unfilled spaces.
We aim to carry on improving our childcare services through continuous consultations with children and parents.

Interested in a Nursery Place?
If you are interested in a place at the nursery then please fill out the "Expression of Interest" form and return it to us at nursery@uwe.ac.uk .
You will then be contact by a staff member providing you with more information and the opportunity to visit either of the two nurseries at your convinience.
