Troubled Eating

It isn't just extreme eating disorders that you should be aware of.

Food becomes an issue when you:

  • Feel guilty when you're not on a diet
  • Are constantly weight watching
  • Have to exercise to compensate for your eating
  • Feel guilty when you eat or other people see you eating
  • Make yourself sick after eating
  • Take laxatives
  • Eat only low calorie or high fibre food
  • Eat more than you want to but feel that you can't stop
  • Feel anxious and panicky before eating
  • Lots of people have problems with food and eating and it is nothing to feel embarrassed or ashamed about. All the organisations you contact will treat your enquiry confidentially.
