Local Bristol charity Mind is putting on an amazing fundraising fashion and dance event...
We have been selling tickets for £20 but would like to offer these to students at £10 – at the moment this would be via the Bristol Mind office but also possibly through Shop Dutty on Stokes Croft.
Guaranteed to be something never before seen in the city of Bristol, shows of this magnitude are normally reserved for the bright lights of London!!
It’s much more than a fashion show, it’s a vibrant extravaganza of dance, diversity and fashion, conveying the wealth of talent that we have here on our doorstep! A showcase of clothing by local, unique designers as well as ethical outlets (see www.fashion-in-mind.co.uk for links to their websites). In amongst the glamour of fashion and models, supplied by Gingersnap modelling agency (www.gingersnap.co.uk) some of Bristol’s talented youth will be putting on a varied and wide spectrum of entertainment and much more besides. Professional dancers “Anonymous” and beat box duo “XLR8” will blow you away with their dynamic energy. Opening our show we are delighted to have the sensual Salsa dancers - Salsa Montuno (http://www.salsamontuno-uk.com/) you’ll be amazed!
Putting the show together is the world renowned fashion choreographer and extremely talented, Kate Handley (see www.fashionshowcasewales.co.uk). From the moment you arrive the entertainment begins: magicians, jugglers, and Bath based choir “Vocal Works” (www.vocalworks.co.uk) singing contemporary songs before the spectacular show starts!
