Under the terms of NUS constitution, rules and associated schedules, all Annual Conference elections are required to include the option for the electorate to “Re Open Nominations”. “RON” is then treated as a candidate for the purposes of the count.

The steps needed to vote online.

We use an evoting system that requires the UWE systems login and password to verify that you are a current UWE student.

The Returning Officer is responsible for the good conduct and administration of the elections and has sole authority to interpret the election rules without further challenge.
