Okay, so I hear what you're thinking – Scouts and Guides, not the most interesting society to be a part of during your time at University. SAGUWE, though, is slightly different...a Student Scout And Guide Organization focused on having an awful lot of fun and giving you the opportunities offered by Scouting and Guiding if you wish to take them.
SAGUWE (Scouts and Guides at the University of the West of England) is part of the National Student Scout and Guide Organization (SSAGO), and we are now operating again at the University of the West of England.
We are the society that does everything! We offer you the chance to experience lots of different activities, such as climbing, rifle shooting, camping, abseiling, archery, bowling, and kayaking. We also arrange our own social events consisting of pub quizzes at Frenchay, and pub-crawls around the city.
You don’t even have to be a Scout or Guide to come and enjoy the fun and experience new things! But Scouts and Guides are welcome!
