Volunteering: Get Involved!
Volunteering is one of the most rewarding things you can do, and it looks great on your CV. While you're a student it's a great time to do something with your free time! There are a number of ways you can get involved while at UWE.
*If you're a new student starting in September we'll look forward to seeing you at freshers fair or the volunteering intro meetings on 29th September and 7th October in SU meeting room 2.*
Whether you want to make a difference to the local community, get some work experience related to your degree, improve your employability, learn new skills, do some training or just have fun...
There is something for everyone!
If there is something you would like to do that is not mentioned here then please get in contact with Helen Seacombe your Volunteer Support Officer to discuss your thoughts.
- UWE Volunteering can help you find a volunteering opportunity that is best suited to your needs, whatever you are interested in.
- Students' Union Volunteering forms part of UWE volunteering, focussing on student-led projects and one off volunteering days in the local community. You can get involved in a range of projects, campaigns and fundraising events or even set up your own.
