Wanted: Union Community Representatives

We're looking for friendly, approachable students to help make Bristol a better place to live in as a student.

We are recruiting ten volunteer community reps to cover these areas:

  • Glenside
  • St Matthias
  • Stoke Park (Frenchay)
  • City Centre/Cabot
  • Horfield
  • Bishopston
  • Redland
  • Cotham
  • Montpelie
  • Clifton

Your basic duties would be to attend community meetings and give UWESU some feedback on the issues, so that we can campaign to improve things. This could be as simple as needing to ask the Council for more bins on a street with large student houses, where the overflowing rubbish is annoying the more permanent residents, or something more serious, like safety late at night.
It's an amazing opportunity to make real change happen, and improve lives, whilst at the same time adding to your CV in a big way!
