Open Monday to Saturday 9pm to 3am. The Lizard Lounge now has legendary status amongst students in Bristol. Despite the basement, dark décor and the continuation of the same chart and cheese music policy almost every night of the week, there is almost always a queue to get in. A very student friendly establishment with drink prices that reflect this.

Definitely on a Wednesday night. Great music, cheap drinks and it’s in a handy location if you live in the centre. It is guaranteed to be busy. You can get a Fosters for a pound a pint and a jug of vodka Red Bull for £8. Get there early as it’s always a big queue.
