"If I wasn't so scared of the blue mannequin, I'd put on an event"

Putting on an event is a great way to make your club or society stand out and attract more members. Events could range from a meeting at the Students' Union, a bike ride around campus, or a themed night in RED at Frenchay.

The first thing to do is decide what you want to do and when you want to do it. Rooms for meetings or talks can be booked around the clock and at all campuses. If you wish to book a room follow these steps .

RED can be booked for club and society use on Monday and Wednesday nights and could prove the ideal way to build some interest in your activity. For more information hiring RED and to discuss your exact requirements please contact either the Sports President or the Activities President .

If you have a more specific idea for an event that happens outside of the campus, these should be discussed with the presidents and Kirsty Tomlinson , who will ensure that the relevant risk assessments have been made.
