About UWE Students' Union
Essentially UWE Students' Union (UWESU), is an organisation of students, for students.
The University of the West of England (UWE) is one of the UK's most popular higher education institutions and has an excellent reputation for both teaching and research. Essentially UWE Students' Union (UWESU), is an organisation of students, for students. It is an independent, democratic organisation that's key purpose is to enhance the educational experience, serve and represent its members.
UWESU operates on five campuses in Bristol; Frenchay, St Matthias, Bower Ashton and Glenside and at Hartpury in Gloucestershire. UWESU is a campaigning organisation, a key activity of which is the representation of it's members. Four elected student Presidents sit on a range of University committees, including the University Board of Governors and the Academic Board.
